1. 7 Characteristics of Living Things (MRS GREN)
- Movement: All living things move.
- Respiration: Releasing energy from food.
- Sensitivity: Reacting to changes around them.
- Growth: Getting larger in size.
- Reproduction: Producing young ones.
- Excretion: Getting rid of bodily waste.
- Nutrition: Taking in food or sunlight.
2. Simple Food Chains
Energy flows from the sun to green plants (Producers), then to plant-eaters (Herbivores / Primary Consumers), and finally to meat-eaters (Carnivores / Secondary Consumers).
Example: Grass → Grasshopper → Frog → Snake → Eagle.
3. The Water Cycle
Water evaporates from rivers and lakes into water vapor, condenses into clouds, and falls back to earth as rain (Precipitation).
